We're Going to Focus all our Efforts on Fake Followers

2013 is coming to an end and I think it's time I provide an update on the business, what we're doing and where it is heading.
In all honesty 2013 has been a tough one for us. It has been the yin to our amazing yang of 2012 -- if that makes sense... The year began positively with investment talk and working with bigger companies to try and deliver our dream of building a one stop shop for SME social media marketing. You will have seen a lot of this work in the development of our main Social Media Marketing tool (tools.statuspeople.com).
Sadly though over the course of 6 months or so this process fell apart. It did not turn out in the way we had hoped. Partly this was my fault -- naivety mainly. And it distracted us from what made 2012 so successful -- our Fakers App.
Thankfully though every cloud really does have a silver lining. And via our work we made contact with Lee and Raj of #1Seed. Their free advice has been invaluable and helped us refocus on what we should have been focused on. The development of our Fakers App which is where we have been making money and developing a user base. If you're looking for some investment or advice for your start up check them out.
Some of you will have noticed the updates we have made to the Fakers App over the last 8 weeks. This is part of a business refocussing and will continue into the future. Today we have also re-branded our website around our Fakers App and our aim to become the Twitter Follower experts.
An addition to our services will be training -- focused on teaching you how to better understand your Followers and how to improve ROI from them. If you're interested in attending one of our first sessions for free please email us at [email protected] or tweet us @StatusPeople.
But all this means that sadly, and while we have made quite a lot of money from it, we will no longer continue the development of our main Social Media Marketing Platform. And we will be accepting no more sign ups. We will continue to support it and maintain it for the foreseeable future. At least until we have ported its best features over to the Fakers App. We are sorry if this disappoints some of you. But we need to refocus on what really works for us
We hope the above makes sense and you understand what we're trying to achieve. Enjoy the rest of the year and here's to a great 2014.
